Climate Collaboration

We know that climate crises and species extinction are degrading our planet and threatening the existence of our human and all species. Many people feel overwhelmed by the magnitude of both, especially when they ask themselves what is going to solve these challenges.

Climate" is the work of our times, and needs all of our contribution. The Climate Crisis strongly affects every aspect of our lives. Concerned but don't know what to do? Feeling hopeless that it's too late? Anxious and need to focus?

This crisis can be addressed by everyone, no matter where you are, who you are, or what skills you have. You can find educational resources, inspiration and information in every one of these following references. Please check each section below and invest your time to learn and be empowered with others to keep taking actions.

Know the Science:

Climate Information for a Climate Smart Nation from NOAA with 7 Essential Principles, including #6 Human activities are impacting the climate system. (The guide can also serve educators who teach climate science with content standards for their science curricula.)

Climate Nexus: Animal agriculture is the second largest contributor to human-made greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions after fossil fuels and is a leading cause of deforestation, water and air pollution and biodiversity loss. If global consumption of meat and dairy continues to grow at the current pace, the agriculture sector could consume about 70 percent of the allowable budget for all GHG emissions by mid-century.
